Hotel La Rosa Celebrates Christmas 2015 with a Party!

With the beginning of the tropical December winds, the climate around San Jose, Costa Rica and Alajuela area where the Juan Santamaria International Airport is located is starting to dry out… just in time for the 2016 busy tourist season AND our ever popular La Rosa Christmas Party!

This is a beautiful time of year for people lucky enough to live in the sunniest part of Costa Rica’s Central Valley – La Garita. Emerging from the “winter” orEnjoying the provided food and drink. wet season, all the flowers are coming into bloom; having received their first strong rays of sunlight since September.   Temperatures are still cool and the air is clean and fresh.

A great time to hold an outdoor party! And though “Ticos” do not need excuses to hold parties, Christmas is a great motivator! So, all the staff of Hotel La Rosa got together and decorated the hotel inside and out in preparation for the party.

Hotel guests, service providers, tourism and agency providers, friends of the hotel and of course all the staff and their families were invited. Guests came from all over the Central Valley, San Jose, Arenal, Poas Volcano and as far away as Cartago, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio.

Normally a private hotel, open only to our guests, this night we shared and enjoyed with all our friends in the gardens and pool area of the Hotel La Rosa de America! The Annual Christmas Party is dedicated to all the hardworking La Rosa Team and their families foremost, and also to all partners that help us meet success each year in our responsible hosting of thousands of tourists. Together we celebrated all the achievements during the year.Dancing while the night is still young!

The La Rosa party reflects both our ethnically diverse staff, and also our huge number of cultural groups who visit us each year.   The music, drinks and food were a mix of Latin style, Costa Rican, Canadian, Colombian, American, French and more!

Around the pool area many of the staff rapidly got with the beat of the music and “let loose” – dancing to salsa, cumbia, merengue, – even jive at one point! Regardless of style, in typical Tico friendliness, those who were not “practiced” in specific dances were encouraged to create new and sometimes highly personalized styles to the music!!!

Children are always welcome at La Rosa - especially at Christmas!Time for Friends

Thank you for your company that beautiful night and we wish all guests and friends from around the world, Happy Holidays !!!
We hope to see you next year at Hotel La Rosa de America!
