GRECIA

GreciaWith tourist attractions at Los Angeles and the secluded camping areas at Lake Hule and the Bosque Alegre near the Children’s Forest and the Grecia Forest Reserve.
The town of Grecia offers plenty of quaint tourist attractions, shopping and souvenirs, sightseeing usually includes the extraordinary architecture of the Grecia church which is constructed of metal.
Grecia is a popular destination for the first night of arrival in Costa Rica for tourists heading to the Pacific Coast.

ZARCERO

ZarceroParque Francisco Alvarado: The park sits in front of the church at the town center. It is noted for its topiary garden produced and maintained by Evangelisto Blanco since the 1960s. Shrubs in the park have been trimmed into the shapes of various animals, including some that are quite abstract and bizarre. Iglesia de San Rafael: Zarcero’s pink and blue church was constructed in 1895. The interior features very nice paintings.

SarchiSarchi is the cradle of national craftsmanship for virtually all types of wood products sold in Costa Rica. Some quality tourist shops exist amongst the many local furniture stores. Sarchi has produced oxcarts with the best types of woods of Costa Rica since 1903 and is the home of the World’s Largest Oxcart!
