To Hotel La Rosa de America:

1.  From the Airport:
Go west on Highway 1 (the Central American Highway) towards San Ramon for approximately 11 km. until you get to the Atenas exit.  (You will see large white oil storage tanks on your left) Take the exit, turn right, and go exactly 4 km east (back towards Alajuela).   You will see a new orange Banco Popular on your left. Our La Rosa sign is directly across from this bank.  Turn right just before the sign, go 100 meters, turn left go 75 meters and the hotel is on your right. 

2.  If taking a taxi:
Simply tell the driver to take you to Hotel La Rosa de America in Barrio San Jose de Alajuela (100 mts sur y 75 este de La Mandarina  OR one kilometer east of ZooAve and Spa Martino).  Total driving time from the airport in “normal” traffic is around 10-15 minutes.

3.  If coming from Puntaranas:
Continue along the Interamerican Highway or CA-1 eastbound (towards San Jose and the airport) until you come to the Atenas exit 11 km before the airport.  Take the exit to the right, and then turn left at the intersection and cross over the overpass towards Alajuela.  Continue for 4 km and then watch for our roadsign on the right side, across from the new orange Banco Popular.

4.  If coming from Jaco or up from the Atenas road:
Continue along the Atenas-La Garita-Alajuela road crossing over the Interamerican Highway.  (do NOT turn towards the airport here)  Continue for 4 km up the road from the overpass and watch for our road sign on the right side, across from the new orange Banco Popular.
