We stayed at Hotel La Rosa de America 3
separate times in July/August 2011.
The first when we arrived in Costa Rica from UK late July for 3
nights then again mid August for one night and again for two...

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in this hotel in May 2010.
We arrived so late (
maybe around 10-11p)
and the owner was so kind and accommodating.
This was the only hotel we booked before departing...

We often have to stay in San Jose for business.
San Jose is always crazy,
busy,
dirty and non stop choas.
It is always such a treat to come to La Rosa.
It is off the beaten path yet easy to get to;...

The hotel was actually recommended to us by one of their competitors,
and I'm so glad for the tip!
This little hotel certainly exceeded our expectations (propreté,
proximity to airport,
lovely...

entering Rosa's beautiful grounds after an hour stuck in traffic felt like entering an alternate universe.
Staff and room were equally lovely and tranquil.
Only downsides:
couldn't get hot water in...

This was our second visit back to Costa Rica,
and we chose this hotel again for a quiet place close to the airport.
Our experience at this place was even better!
They have upgraded the rooms and...

great place to get your bearings once you arrive.
They were attentive to our needs and questions.
Even gave us a sack breakfast when we had to leave early.

We stayed at this place three times during our 3
weeks vacation.
